The 8 that survived the nightmare hatch are doing great! They are starting to feather out some and you can see some colour.....mostly white but some brown. I have 48 eggs in the incubator that are on day 4.Keeping my fingers and toes crossed!
Keepin' my fingers, toes, arms, legs and eyes crossed for your next hatch Val. After the absolute devastation of our last quail hatch attempt, I am really nervous about our next hatch date, April 6. If that hatch isn't successful, we where advised to try not refrigerating the eggs before hatching so we'll try that.
Thanks Leon,I know how you are feeling. Our hatch date is April 5th,so we'll be walking the floors together.I don't put my eggs in the fridge.....never really thought about it......too cold!LOL I hope your hatch is a success this time,I really want to see some little quail:)
i am glad to see that the little ones including hope are doing well and growing up fast lol tell hope that mudder is watching lol hope this next hatch does better and that you will be putting these on the web cam to from heidi and annette
Hello Heidi and Net,so glad to read your post.Chick cam will be set up on Saturday:)Due to hatch April 5th.I hope all goes well with this hatch too! Hope is doing great mudder.....it takes a minute to figure out which one is her/him,not sure of the sex yet.LOL
Hello...I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your webcam with me. It is awesome! I happened to stumble upon this site from camstreams.com. I live in Cooperstown, NY (Baseball Hall of Fame) I believe it said you were in Nova Scotia. My Mother, Aunt & I were there in 2007. We rented a home for two weeks in Halifax. Just loved it! The house was right on the shipping channel so we got to see all the tall ships when they were in. Well, anyway, good luck with all your hatches. A Happy Easter to all! Debbie
Those are better pics Val.Some warm decent day Em and I will be out.No fun when it's so cold.
